Evening all! We have been busy doing what we can to progress with J5 and little by little we are moving forward, after laying out for a new printer we’re super pleased to start reaping the benefits!

Here is a sneak peak of some of the parts we’ve been printing, recognise any?!

As you can imagine resin printing has its advantages over FDM but its not always the case so it best to do your research and ask a few questions. Now we have a number of parts we need to be not just super smooth but strong and sometimes due to the size of those parts PLA just isn’t going to be up to the job and PETG and ABS…..well, they can really take some fine tuning to get a good print and lets not forget the time it takes although resin printing isn’t always the quicker of the two! Anyway, we opted for an engineering resin that gives us a great finish but a fresh part that can be tapped if needed, a measure of flexibility and importantly strength.
